Job Duties: * Evaluate and grade students' class work, performances, projects, assignments, and papers. * Explain and demonstrate artistic techniques. * Prepare students for performances, exams, or assessments. * Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics such as acting techniques, fundamentals of music, and art history. * Organize performance groups and direct their rehearsals. * Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. * Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. * Keep abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences. * Advise students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues. * Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records. back to top

Qualification Requirements: Must have a Bachelor of Music degree in music education with transcript of records. Can teach all the aspects of music i.e, melody, rhythm, form, texture, harmony etc. can play Contemporary, Romantic, Classical, Baroque piano music. Can teach piano, guitar, drums,voice, Drum and Lyre, recorder and choir. Can compose and transcribe any hymn i.e write the notes of the composed music. Can put up any musical play or concert.
