Job Title: General Manager of Recreational Diving Operations
Job Duties: Builds a motivated and skilled team, leads by example and instills a culture of continuous learning and improvement among employees; actively participates in Employee Relations activities and programs. Organizes and manages the department in accordance with company philosophy and policies, maximizing efficiency and productivity and achieving established goals; promotes harmony between departments. Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule. Demonstrates standards awareness, by setting example for standards execution, standards testing and implementing action plans to achieve established product and service goals. Prepares annual plans and forecasts, consistently monitors and manages budgetary goals. Conceptualizes and implements fun and entertaining diving activities and excursions for guests of all ages and cultural backgrounds, in keeping with the resort environment and the company's style. Implements and ensures adherence to all NAUI standards; ensures highest levels of diving safety for guests and staff. Ensures the company's Dive offering remains current and in keeping with customer expectations. Maximizes Dive retail sales by ensuring current product lines and optimized stock levels. Coordinates with Marine Biology consultants in view of integrating marine biology into the guest experience. Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of VIP's, return guests, groups, etc. Schedules staff accordingly to ensure proper coverage due to business demands. Takes initiative and ownership of guest concerns and requests and acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction when glitches occur; exceeds expectations. Promotes the maintenance of guest preference records (Guest History) and the creation of individual and personalized holiday experiences. Works towards achieving and exceeding budgeted revenues. Monitors sales and financial targets. Promotes and upsells excursions to guests, customizing where necessary to meet or exceed guest expectations and create memories. Keeps abreast of current dive equipment, retail products, trends and technologies. Where appropriate, personally escorts guests on dive excursions. Actively ensures the skills and knowledge development of the department's employees with regards to Retail Sales, the marine environment and NAUI qualifications. Insures boat safety procedures are adhered to at all times

Qualification Requirements: Has 5 or more years of relevant experience in dive center operations. Possesses aptitude, management skills and upward mobility Possesses excellent math and psychometric abilities. Possesses business acumen, well developed guest engagement skills and personal flair. Holds PADI IDC Staff Instructor level or higher certification. Holds and maintains all required life-saving certifications such as CPR. MUST HOLD ADVANCED DEGREE IN KOREAN, JAPANESE AND ENGLISH IN ORDER TO PROVIDE BEST SERVICES TO CLIENT FROM THESE THREE FOCUS TOURIST MARKETS.
