Job Duties: | Plan menus, prepare, seasons and cooks all type of dishes, desserts, and other food according to recipes, estimates food requirements and procures food storage. Handle food in a hygienic manner, and maintain food in good standards. Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment, work surface, serving area to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices. Ensure food is stores and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of events, broilers, grills and roasters. Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items. Weigh, portion, arrange, garnish, wash, and peel, cuts, measure, mix, bake, roast, broil, steam food and ingredients according to the recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. Serve food to waitress and patrons. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils. Satisfy local and international customers with different variety of cuisine which may include Japanese, Chinese, and International food like salad, appetizers, desserts and main entrees. Performs other task as determined and assigned by the Executive Chef. |

Qualification Requirements: | High School Diploma or equivalent.Need anywhere from a few months to one year of working with experienced employeesThree to Five years of work related experienced. Culinary Degree required but not preferred. . Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, professional, neat and well groomed at all times. Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evenings, weekend and holidays. Be able to stand for prolonged period of time. Full understanding of licensing responsibilities and environmental health standards. Food Handler Certified. And a highly qualified in preparing variety of food and knowledgeable in food production and processing. |
