Job Title: Credit & Collection Manager
Job Duties: Develops and administers credit and collection program. Oversees investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers and monitors the collection of amounts due to the organization. Designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables. Monitor and report regularly hotel credit sales, cash sales and collections. Controls all cash/change funds of the hotel making sure that all are intact and properly documented. Monitors and controls the daily cash position. Responsible in the payroll processing and make sure that payroll are properly funded. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management. To perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Must have a College Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting. Minimum 5 years experience in an administrative role; Finance and Accounting knowledge in US generally Accepted Accounting Principles; Knowledge on the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry; Knowledge in hotel payroll system; Analytical thinking; Able to do multi-tasking; Proficiency in Microsoft Office software; Word and Excel; Proficiency in PMS (Fidelio), POS System, MAS90 Accounting Software. Must be flexible and a definite Team Player. U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder preferred.
