Job Title: Building & Fleet Coordinator
Job Duties: Job Summary: The Building and Fleet Coordinator will assist the Supply and Transportation Supervisor in the coordination of all facilities and fleet maintenance operations and physical security for IT&E. The Coordinator will inspect and monitor all facilities for safety, security and maintenance and will serve as the point of contact for contractors and subcontractors who perform maintenance, repair and utility jobs for IT&E. The Coordinator will also maintain licensure and registration for all IT&E fleet vehicles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Employee will: 1. Assist the Supply and Transportation Supervisor in all aspects of monitoring and maintaining the IT&E plant and all facilities and related equipment at a level suitable for telecommunications operations and the productivity, comfort and safety of IT&E staff and customers. 2. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company fleet vehicles, ensuring that all drivers are properly and currently licensed and that all legal requirements of vehicle operation are met: insurance, vehicle safety inspections, registrations and timely accident reporting. 3. Serve as the contact person and liaison for IT&E with government compliance agencies and contractors, who perform facilities and transportation-related services for IT&E. 4. Ensure federal and CNMI permits for fuel tanks are current and maintained. 5. Routinely check all fire extinguishers, water tanks and first aid kits for condition and usability. Order and replenish fire extinguishers and safety kits and company-wide general facilities equipment, tools and supplies. 6. Maintain records and duplicates of all company keys, combinations, locks and alarm codes. 7. Periodically inspect all buildings and advise the Supply and Transportation Supervisor of any, hazards and unsightly areas. 8. Coordinate and escort all outside contractors in secure areas, ensuring the completion of the IT&E visitation form, maintaining a copy of file and forwarding the original form to the Central Office. 9. Assist in the inspection of completed facilities projects and ensure that all subcontracted work is performed in an efficient and timely manner, meets IT&E and industry quality assurance standards, and will satisfy customer expectations of the IT&E brand. 10. Coordinate the removal and disposal of all solid waste material including hazardous materials, such as batteries and petroleum products. 11. Assist in the documentation and filing of all facility records, vehicle records, accident and injury records, and construction proposals. 12. Monitor all alarm systems and be available after hours, as needed, to respond to alarms. 13. Act as alternate contact person on building and fleet issues. 14. Process building and fleet-related purchase requisitions, material requisitions, and pick up and deliver facilities related goods and materials. 15. Routinely inspect Company vehicles and submit recommendations for maintenance, clean up and BMV interface. 16. Provide support to the Supply and Warehouse section when needed. 17. Know and observe safety rules at all times and ensure that all division staff and subcontractors observe safety considerations at all times. 18. Attend and participate in training activities, as assigned. 19. Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned or required.

Qualification Requirements: Education: High School or Trade School graduate with an additional one (01) years of related experience Work Experience: Three years experience in maintenance contract supervision or general building work experience with electrical, air-conditioning or mechanical knowledge. Experience in personal computer operations required Licensure/Certification/Professional Association: None Required Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of: a. Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and energy management requirements b. Vehicle fleet operations, emission controls, drive line and power train systems, preventive and scheduled maintenance planning c. CNMI and federal laws, in include the Environmental Protection Act, Department of Transportation requirements and other building and vehicle safety laws and regulations d. Contract and bid processes and oversight methods e. General telecommunications processes and supply and equipment needs 2. Skills in: a. Efficiently managing human and material resources b. Negotiating contracts and job requirements with contractors c. Working smoothly with government agencies in necessary interactions d. Use of personal computer hardware and Microsoft software programs 3. Ability to: a. Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately with all levels of staff and customers, both verbally and in writing b. Read and understand building plans and blueprints c. Trouble shoot building and vehicle maintenance problems and determine appropriate solution or action required d. Make logical and sound decisions in dealing with contractors and government agencies. e. Perform in a self-directed, hard-working, creative and forward thinking manner
