| Job Duties: | Provides basic nursing care such as bathing, vital sign, minor dressing changes, intake and output, Accu-check, Enemas, specimen collection, administration of oral, subcutaneous, and intra-muscular medication, observation and reporting of adverse signs and symptoms. Assists with the admission and discharge of assigned patients. Demonstrates leadership. Communicates openly and effectively with members of the health care team, professionals, patients, and family members. Demonstrates current knowledge of the legal and ethical standards of nursing practice and patient care. Participates in QAPI and CQI programs. Assist with the preparation of the Nursing Care Plan. Assists in maintaining cleanliness of the unit. Performs other related duties or tasks as directed by the Charge Nurse or Unit Manager. |

Must take Annual Review Classes (CPR, Body Mechanics, Fire Safety, Accucheck, ADA, and Infection Control). |
