Job Duties: | •The Controller will prepare reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations. Oversee and manage all general ledger activity. •Advise management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions. •Supervise employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties. •Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, or investment activities of all or part of an organization. •Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting. •Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards. •Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies. •Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources. •Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed. •Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions. •Monitor financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met. •Evaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses and make appropriate recommendations. |

Qualification Requirements: | •Holds Bachelor’s degree in Accounting •Extensive knowledge in gaming industry, related to gaming and amusement machine audit as well as governing laws, rules and regulations and related taxes •Understands and applies principles of financial risk management •Has excellent knowledge of basic accounting functions •Has knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting guidelines •The ability to identify and maintain accounting controls •Demonstrates working knowledge of Sage Software Business Works Programs, Microsoft Office and Manage Ecco Pro •Has 3-5 years experience in accounting and management •Demonstrates the ability to work individually or as part of a team •Ability to handle payroll and related human resources responsibilities •Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order and report directly to Corporate Officers and Directors •Meets deadlines •Has integrity: maintains normal standards of ethics, conduct, and organizational policies in job-related activities •Performs essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and timely without direct supervision •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Must pass proficiency test •Ability to work flexible and extended hours, weekends and holidays. •Trustworthy, honest, efficient, effective and dependable •Must have a valid CNMI driver’s license |
