Job Duties: | 1. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. 2. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. 3. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. 4. Confers with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. 5. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. 6. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. 7. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. 8. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. 9. Must be knowledgeable in the preparation of estimates 10. Must be knowledgeable in construction safety & quality controls 11. Must be knowledgeable in lay-outing, plans, shop drawings preparation. 12. Must be knowledgeable in preparation of good project related communications to client and government agencies. 13. Must be knowledgeable in various civil works 14. Must be knowledgeable in building constructions and interior finishing works. 15. Must be computer literate 16. Must be knowledgeable in building codes. 17. Must be knowledgeable in CNMI project related permitting requirements. 18. Other related functions as may be assigned. |
