Job Title: Retail Store Assistant Manager
Job Duties: The Assistant Retail Store manager is responsible for the overall day to day operation of the store in the absence of the Retail Store manager. He/She is a non-exempt employee who reports to a Retail Store Manager in maintenance and operation of a retail store facility in a safe, customer focused and profitable manner. The Assistant Retail Store manager is tasked with helping store and corporate management to ensure retail outlets function well. The main job duty of a Retail Store Assistant Manager is to help the Store manager in the smooth and profitable operation of the business and this entails many duties such as: 1.) Customer Service Representative Positions 2.) Understand and support store operations, policies and procedures 3.) Performs and trains all duties of the Customer Service Representatives and Lead 4.) Assists the Retail store manager with shift coverage in the event there are no other employees are available to work 5.) Provides training assistance to new Customer service representatives and Lead 6.) Manage all training, scheduling, and supervision of the Eucon Mart Operations Team 7.) Oversee all ordering, receiving and stocking of grocery inventory from the supplier and control inventory levels to maximize sales and minimize stock loss 8.) Prepares and transmits the daily bookkeeping, invoicing and sales report as required 9.) Provides prompt, courteous customer service and professionally resolves customer issues 10.) Assumes the Retail Store Manager responsibilities when needed and develops employee work schedules 11.) Ability to finalize, transmit and process weekly time and attendance records and payroll 12.) Develop working knowledge of all equipment within the store and be able to troubleshoot problems. 13.) Performs other duties as assigned by the Retail Store Manager.

Qualification Requirements: A service oriented individual with high energy, friendly demeanor, and a willingness to work hard. With an excellent command of English and willing to learn Mandarin/Chinese language as deemed necessary when dealing with our Chinese patrons. With a strong mathematical and problem solving ability. Preferably with at least 1-2 or more years-related experience in managing a Retail Store or related business. Must have an outstanding sales ability, a good understanding of product and a strong leadership skills. Must have the Physical function ability to lift, carry, push, pull and bend at waist when storing or retrieving stocks. Ability to prioritize, effectively delegate, and handle multiple tasks.
