Job Duties: | Responsible for the daily operation of the Casino. Manages all phases of assigned gaming department operations and related areas. Work in compliance with accounting, personnel & all other departments of the casino. Administers & maintains constant oversight of assigned operations & areas.Responsible for the oversight of all other departments within the casino.Determines manpower & schedulin needs. Makes adjustments as deemed necessary, assuring maximum customer service and department profitability. Participates in planning the monthly program calendar & special events. Responsible for all expenditures, income and profitability. Needs to establish realistic budgets, incorporating sound business judgements. Authorize all purchase requisitions for casino operations. Be highly visible throughout the organization and help department managers solve their daily operation challenges. Have current knowledge of all legislation that pertains to the gaming industry. Hold scheduled meetings with department managers/supervisors to communicate information and review activities.Hold scheduled meetings with the Executive Committee. Monitor audits.Develop department managers and hold them accountable for effective operation of their assigned areas. Institute new gaming programs. Draft administrative budget for approval by the Executive Committee. Supervise maintenance of all financial books & records of accounts, documents and contracts. Such records shall be made available for inspection at reasonable hours to members of the Executive Committee, for any lawful & proper purpose. Monitor use of all keys through the Security Department. |
