| Job Title: | Hemodialysis Technician |
| Job Duties: | Assembles and prepare patient station, hemodialysis machines, dialyzers, lines and dialysate bath as prescribed. Assembles all necessary supplies and prepares the dialyzer delivery system. Accurately take and record vital signs and machine parameters throughout the treatments as well as pre and post dialysis. Recognizes and reacts appropriately to common dialysis complications like hypotention, cramps, etc. Demonstates knowledge and skills needed to provide care appropriate to age, condition of patients, in consultation with the charge nurse. Does patient teaching as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. |
