| Job Title: | Hemodialysis Technician |
| Job Duties: | Maintains a safe, clean and orderly environment for patients and staff. Assembles and prepare patient station, hemodialysis machines, dialyzers, lines and dialysate bath as prescribed. Assembles all necessary supplies and prepares the dialyzer and dialysate delivery system. Demostrates knowledge and skills needed to provide care appropriate to age, condition of patients, in consultation with the charge nurse. Recognizes and reacts appropriately to common dialysis complications like hypotention, cramps, etc. Monitors functioning of dialysis machines and is able to trouble shoots and take necessary actions as needed to prevent harm to the patient. Initiates, monitors and terminates hemodialysis treatment according to established policy and procedure. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Certificat from Junior College/Technician School in HealthCare. Attended a hemodialysis-training program. Three year hemodialysis experienced-preffered.
