Job Title: Front Desk Manager
Job Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities of an organization or department that provides lodging and other accommodations. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance. Greet and register guests. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services, and resolve occupants' complaints. Monitor the revenue activity of the hotel or facility. Train staff members. Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures. Coordinate front-office activities of hotels or motels, and resolve problems. Participate in financial activities, such as the setting of room rates, the establishment of budgets, and the allocation of funds to departments. Collect payments and record data pertaining to funds and expenditures. Manage and maintain temporary or permanent lodging facilities. Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or correct unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs. Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for confidentiality of all data, including customer, employee and operations data. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Must be able to understand reservations and revenue management. Must be able to possess effective communication skills. Must be able to understand and work with housekeeping, maintenance and security. Must be able to analyze hotel operations. Must be able to identify workplace problems promptly and analyze from an operational and customer service perspective. Must be able to monitor departmental costs to ensure performance against budget. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be able to handle split shift schedule. Must have computer skills (use excel, word, outlook). Must be able to work in the U.S.
