Job Title: Construction Inspector
Job Duties: •Responsible for inspection of construction contract works, and assist the Project Manager or Construction Manager with providing informations confirming works performed by Contractors complies with the contract requirements, FHWA Codes, ACI & Building Codes, AWWA Specifications, OSHA Safety Requirements and all U.S. Federal and CNMI Codes and regulations. •Research construction information and document findings in a timely manner and reports discrepancies to the Project Manager or Construction Manager. •Remain vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activities. Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents. •Coordinating the interface of the construction work with other contractors on the site. •Verify that contractor is following his approved Site Health & Safety Plan; and documents site safety violations and submit reports to the Project Manager or Construction Manager. •Assist the Client and PM team in identifying contractor’s works that may requires value of claims or changes in schedule. •Ensure inspection reports are accurate and reflect work of Contractor. Monitor the material incorporated in the work, the materials stored at the site, and the contractor’s manpower and equipment. •Attending weekly, monthly, and other progress meetings as required by the Clients. Shares in identifying constraints and recommend corrective measures. •Prepares daily reports and review Contractor’s daily reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules and designs for the project as needed. •Coordinating with contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence, and method of work. •Seek approval from the Project Manager or Construction Manager for any changes to project scope or additional inspection services as required. •Specific Skills Required; oExcellent working knowledge of industry practices/safety/quality assurance systems. oHigh level of critical thinking skills. oClear verbal communication skills. oUnderstanding of contract documents and specifications. oDemonstrate ability to use tact, discretion, confidentiality and courtesy in interdepartmental and external contacts. oAbility to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and looks for ways to improve the process of completing tasks done more efficiently.

Qualification Requirements: •At least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others) or equivalent. Employees in these occupations usually need one or two years of training involving both on-the-job experience and informal training with experienced workers. A recognized apprenticeship program may be associated with these occupations. experience in the related field is required for this position. Employees specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent. Job role in water and wastewater projects is required. •Computer Literate; Excel, Word, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.
