Job Duties: | Must be knowledgeable in Quickbooks, PeachTree , Excel and Word programs. Must be knowledgeable in AccuPOS and be able to recognize the various codes and abbreviations used. Must be able to spot inconsistencies with a report after tallying the day’s receipts. Must be flexible and make themselves available to the owners or managers whenever they are needed. Ordering and keeping track of receipts and compare them to restaurant budgets. Looks upon the inventory counts to make sure that the levels of ordering are appropriate. On-spot checking of food and bar inventory. Responsible for payroll and paying outside food and supply accounts. Must be familiar with FingerTec timeclock system. Double check time cards and make sure that employees are recording their hours according to schedules. Payroll taxes that include social security, income taxes and workman’s compensation payments are tallied and maintained in the general ledger. Bills are reconciled and payments are made as scheduled to maintain good credit scores. Prepare checks for Owner’s signature and approval. Keep track and produce monthly billing statements for customers and agents carefully considering commissions they have to receive. Driving skills a must to make deposits to the bank each day and do outside purchases not available from regular suppliers. Available to work during odd hours and days to accommodate restaurant needs such as emergency purchase for functions and events. Must have 5 years and above related experience. Must see to it that deadlines are met to pay all company taxes required by the government. Must be able to produce financial reports required by owners. |
