| Job Duties: | maintains a safe,clean and orderly environment for patients and staff, assembles & prepare patient station, hemodialysis machines, dialyzers lines & dialysis bath as prescribed, takes accurate vital signs and machine parameters records, monitors functioning of dialysis machines and is able to trouble shoots 7 take necessary actions as needed, activly participates in the devleopment, implementation and evaluation of short and lone-term patient care plans, demonstrate knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate care to age, condition of patients in consultation with the charge nurse, recognizes and reacts appropriately to common dialysis complications like hypotention, cramps, etc., maintains patient confidentiality at all times, cleans and disinfect machines and used equipment at all times, monitor heparin infusion-pump and administers NSS when needed during treatment, participate in all staff in-services snd staff meetings and performs other related duties as assigned. |
