Job Duties: | Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently or the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing machinery or equipment. |

Qualification Requirements: | High School graduate or equivalent. 1-2 years work experience as general preventive maintenance worker required. Preferably has specific knowledge based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include standard methods, materials and tools used in assigned skilled trade and safety practices and procedures. Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities. Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays. |
