Job Title: OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Job Duties: Prepare/execute required governmental and agency documents as required by various government agencies. Arrange various ship husbanding services, which includes, but not limited to, fueling of the ship, providing equipment or materials, arranging crew member trip to the doctor, providing fresh water, working with tugs and pilots, paying necessary fees, making arrangements with contractors to do work on the ship and providing food provisions for the crew. Timely enter/code vendors and supplier’s invoices, port checks and credit card payments into accounting system. Exercise high quality vendor service management and cost control. Prepare/transmit estimated and final port costs. Prepare hazardous cargo manifest and shipper’s hazardous declaration in accordance to 49 CFR Parts 100-185. Prepare statement of facts of vessel operations. Communicate with principals/customers, marine vessel’s Master, port authority, and appropriate government authorities to ensure smooth arrival and departure of vessels.

Qualification Requirements: 1. At least onee (1) year -experience in ship husbanding services. 2. Good verbal and written communication skills. 3. Able to work 24/7 on call. 4. Accounting background. 5. Problem solving abilities. 6. Able to work well under both time and accuracy pressures. 7. Able to deal with people of different personalities and nationalities. 8. Strong trouble shooting skills. 9. Tact and diplomacy in handling sensitive situations. 10. Able to exercise sound independent judgment. 11. Detail oriented. 12. Mathematical aptitude. 13. Able to write neatly and legibly. 14. Follow through skills. 15. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Power Point).
