Job Title: Guest Relation Officer (Chinese)
Job Duties: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Guest Relations Officer's information desk. The Guest Relations Officer is in charge of all concierge functions. She/he sees to it that maximum guest satisfaction is achieved on guest services availed by guest. She/he attends to various needs of VIP guests. Preferable in speaking, reading, writing and understanding Chinese. To ensure of promoting and cross-selling of products and services of the hotel, support and promote the existing hotel promotions, activities and programs by familiarizing with promotion techniques. To attend promptly and professionally to all guest inquiries (e.g., flight reconfirmation, lost luggage, car reservation, city tour, sightseeing, optional tour, restaurant reservation. etc.) To supervise the check-in of guests and VIP guests. To ensure that all guest requests, requirements and feedback are attended to promptly and handled correctly and professionally. To escort VIP guests in the absence of the General Manager, Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager. To ensure smooth and efficient operation of guest services, Front desk operation and information desk services. To review and suggest improvements on existing standard guestroom amenities of the hotel. To inspect rooms for VIP's with high rates. Special attention is made on the cleanliness of the room, amenities set up and condition of the equipments and appliances in the rooms. To coordinate with Room Service and Housekeeping on the Delivery of room amenities. To follow up on hotel events and information, to create poster, flyer and notes to the Guest. To coordinate the schedule of guest request of transportation. To perform other duties as assigned by Managers.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Must have a College Degree in Hotel Management preferred or equivalent hotel experiences. Two years related experience preferred. Preferable be able to speak, read, write and understands Chinese and fluent in English too. Must be a Team Player and flexible. U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder preferred.
