Job Title: Store Manager
Job Duties: Identify and prioritize business needs to strategically schedule self and staff. Manage turnover by hiring, developing, training and motivating quality staff. Conduct performance appraisals. Communicate effectively with all contacts. Promote open communication and assist staff with conflict resolution. Implement and monitor the effectiveness of inventory and cash controls procedures. respond to customer inquiries and concerns. Ensure that appropriate products are available and effectively merchandised. ensure that standards for quality customer service, health and safety are met . Prepare and submit reports as required. maintain the highest level of honesty, integrity, ethical and moral conduct at all times. Conscientiously strive to meet or exceed budgetary goals, understand how to achieve sales increases while maintaining expense controls. Enforce company policies consistently with all associates while providing leadership and maintaining management integrity.

Qualification Requirements: BA degree in appropriate field or equivalent experience. 5+ years retail experience with at least 3 years experience as store assistant or department manager. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This include customer needs assessment, meeting quality standard for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge on the following equipment: Computer, printer, photocopier, facsimile machine, POS terminal and other items as necessary to accomplish assigned tasks. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Able to stand for long periods of time. Well-developed ability to make appropriate decisions in stressful situations. Able to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. job requires patience in dealing with guests, accepting feedback and customer criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stressful situations. Incumbent must take pleasure in working with people and have a welcoming personality. Eager to undergo continuous training. Able and willing to work shifts, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
