Job Duties: | Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel. Helps develop and implements personnel policies and procedures. Prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual. Administers compensation program, monitors performance evaluation program, drafts and verifies job descriptions, and revises as necessary. Conducts orientation to new employees. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, temporary employees, outsourcing, conducts new employee orientations, monitors career pathing programs, writes and places advertisements. Handles employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as required. Maintains company organisational charts and employee directory. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures. Maintains human resources information system records. Assures compliance with the federal and state regulations concerning employment. Manages and ensures effective labor relations, creates an ethical, non discriminatory and safe work environment. Maintains an effective communication line, identifies and solves employee problems, manages conflicts and responds to grievances. Responsible for administering applicant background checks. Receives and initiates process for resignation, termination, etc. Upon request represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. Manages, prepares and processes foreign workers work permits such as CW-1, H1, J1 and other applicable visas. Monitors and prepares staff schedules and payroll time-sheets. Performs other related duties. |

Qualification Requirements: | Associate Degree in Business Administration majoring in Human Resources or equivalent. Three years work experience in Human Resources, covering Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment, Training, Employee Relations, and Performance Management. Ability to maintain highly confidential nature of human resources work and possesses highest degree of integrity and trustworthiness. Knowledge of the EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and other applicable regulations. Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiations and personnel information system. Knowledgeable in processing various working permit or visa. Professional in Human Resources Certification preferred but not required. Computer literate, has analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to influence others and manage change. Flexible to work on shifts, weekends and holidays. Excellent customer service and human relations skills. |
