Job Title: | Supervisor of Mechanic Installer & Repairer Technician |
Job Duties: | Evaluate and analyze major and minor problems associated with auto shop. Assign work, give instruction, maintain discipline and evaluated assigned staff. Advise operators regarding proper handling and operational function of shop equipment. Oversee and supervise the replacement, overhaul, repair of engines, transmission, torque converters, clutches, differentials, and other automotive and equipment parts and components. Purchase, order, and specify tools, equipment, parts, mechanical and electrical components and miscellaneous supplies. Keep Gen Manager apprised of the progress on assigned work and the need for major tools, equipment, and part purchases necessary to keep supervised area operating efficiently. Perform safety inspection and make verbal presentation. Prepare clear and accurate reports. Responsible for license, permits, reports and compliance necessities within various locals, state and federal agencies. Assist Gen Manager on all other related duties. And Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics, installers, and repairers. |

Qualification Requirements: | College degree graduate with at least 1-2 years continued experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance and fabrication, including supervisory capacity. Knowledge in maintenance and repairs need of automobiles, trucks, and other shop equipment. Knowledge in operating procedures and safety practices related to tools and equipments used to maintain, repair and analyze vehicle and equipment. Ability to estimate time and cost necessary to make needed repairs. Ability to operates various types of shop equipment and various types of office machinery necessary in order to economically and efficiently perform the duties to supervise or assist the Technician if needed. Ability to work safely and perform work within confined, often cramped spaces, to kneel, squat, lay on back or stomach and to crawl especially when it is necessary to reach and work on something. And ability to accurately analyze situation relating to vehicle failures and recommend/direct appropriate corrective actions. Excellence in using communication and organizational skills to coordinate, supervise, manage, or train others to accomplish goals |
