Job Duties: | The primary responsibilities of the General Manager include directly supervising the restaurant employees, managing operations in the front and back of the house with a high concentration on profitability, safety, sanitation, and sales growth, while constantly maintaining company's standards of quality and service. Responsibilities also include developing managers and team members. General Manager must be able to work a flexible schedule, which include weekends, holidays, and late nights. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining professional functional working relationship with restaurant hourly employees and the franchise organization. Managing the restaurant floor, focusing on regular contact with guests. Handling guest complaints in a professional and timely manner. Carrying our supervisory duties such as recruitment and hiring, training, directing workflow, appraisal performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints and problems. Completing required reports and paperwork accurately and on time. Maintaining personnel files with appropriate employment and legal documents. |
