| Job Duties: | Examine and diagnose vehicle air conditioning system, compiles estimates of repair cost and secure customer's approval to perform repairs. Install or repair vehicle air conditioner and service components such as evaporators, compressors, condensers and controls. Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution. Join pipes or tubing to equipment and to fuel, water or refrigerant source to form complete circuit. Test electrical circuits or components for continuity using electrical test equipment and hand tools. Reassemble and test equipment following repairs. Comply with all applicable standards, policies and safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area. Responsible of recharging and recycling of refrigerant making sure it is in compliance with the US EPA regulations. |
