| Job Duties: | Host a professional and entertaining show on KWAW-FM (Filipino Radio Station) appealing to an audience as specified by the station’s program director/GM with flexibility to work as scheduled. Host major coverage programming and special shows as required. Assist program director/GM with production of commercials and upkeep of music library. Position requires a minimum of two (2) years work experience at a radio station preferably in news/talk programming. Must haves: good broadcast voice with friendly and credible approach; ability to work under deadline pressure and the ability to interact in an entertaining, engaging, and credible way with other talent and the market audience. Position requires a broad knowledge of current events, popular culture, CHR (current hit release) music from USA and the Philippines. One-year of sales experience preferred but not required; media sales experience a plus. Must be highly motivated to succeed in a competitive environment. Position requires a person with high energy, outgoing personality, strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy, valid driver’s license, a good driving record and reliable transportation preferred but not necessary. College Diploma in related field. |
