Job Title: | Housekeeping Supervisor |
Job Duties: | Directly supervise and coordinate work activities of cleaning personnel in hotels, offices, and other establishments. Plan and prepare employee work schedules. Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient manner. Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards. Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems, and to discuss company policies. Establish and implement operational standards and procedures for the departments supervised. Investigate complaints about service equipment, and take corrective action. Maintain required records of work hours, budgets, payrolls, and other information. Inspect and evaluate physical condition of facilities to determine the type of work required. Other duties as needed to meet business needs. |

Qualification Requirements: | High school graduate or equivalent. A few months to one year of supervisory/managerial capacity, in a five-star hotel, club, or resort. Preferably some basic knowledge of the hotel industry. Must directly supervise and coordinate work activities of cleaning personnel in the hotel. to speak basic foreign language is a plus. Must be able to work a variable schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends. |
