Job Duties: | Responsible for effectively and accurately gathering, monitoring and reporting Daily Revenue Reports and other related audit reports consistently and in a timely manner. Examines and analyzes accounting records to determine financial status of establishment and prepares financial reports concerning operating procedures. Reviews data regarding material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stocks, surplus, income, and expenditures. Inspects items in books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recording transactions. Collect and analyze data to detect controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. Prepare detailed reports and audit findings. Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities. Counts cash on hand, inspects notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities and cancelled checks. Verifies journal and ledger entries of cash and checks payments, purchases, expenses, and trail balances by examining and authenticating inventory items. Prepares reports for management concerning scope of audit. Financial conditions found, and source and application of funds. Other related duties as required. Generally responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate posting of daily revenue operation results. |

Qualification Requirements: | A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Minimum of one to two(1-2) years progressive experience in night audit/income audit operations, preferably in a hotel. Must be able work evenings including weekends and holidays. Microsoft office applications and other software are essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Must be able to work under pressure. Also responsible in handling of company general funds, supervising of employees in the sales associate and must be knowledgeable with purchasing procedures by having alternative means of procuring materials/goods or services based on cost and serviceability. Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, adapt to changes in work environment, work as assignments and/or changes in priorities. Must also have experience with inventories to include, but not limited to,F&B, Dry goods and Housekeeping cleaning and guest supplies. Willing to work flexible schedule on occasion including weekends. Proficient in Accounting Software, SAP R3 FICO system. |
