Job Duties: | Plan, direct, or coordinate medical and health services in home care and clinics, managed care organizations, and assumes responsibility for the preparation and submission of all billing; manages accounts receivable collection and the positing of payments; verifies patient insurance coverage; computers patient's benefits; complies itemized patient bills; provides routine bookkeeping work involved in the maintenance and summary of subsidiary accounts; and preparation of financial reports. |

Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor’s degree in any Health Field, minimum of two (2) years' experience, preferably in health care, experience and expertise in Medicare, Medicaid and insurance processing, knowledge of medical terminology and coding, advanced computer skills in areas of electronic claim submission and data entry/report generation, minimum knowledge of book keeping principles and practices and practices (preferably in the health care field) which entails accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger, attention to detail, organizational skills, strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. |
