Job Title: Director of Engineering
Job Duties: Plans and directs all aspects of engineering activities for the Resort. ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the Resort's established policies and objectives. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Ideally a degree in engineering and Facility Management with extensive exposure to engineering principles and methods; trained or educated in engineering, facilities maintenance or in any related fields; with three to six years of similar experience/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have at least 4 years of senior management experience in the Hospitality industry or in a facility management role. Must be able to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, culture and ethnic backgrounds. Must possess very good communication and project management skills. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the Resort facilities to ensure the operations and facilities are functioning smoothly and fully and that all guests, employees and associates are safe and secure and the resort's assets are protected.
