Job Title: Waiter/Waitress
Job Duties: • Greet guests and escorting them to the tables. • Responsible for taking reservation and seats for the guests. • Take orders and serve food and beverage to patrons. • Serves meals to patrons according to the established rules and etiquette. • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. • Collects payments from customers. • Write customer food or beverage on an order slip, memorize orders, or enter orders on computer for transmittal to kitchen staff. • Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs. • Check customer identification to ensure that they meet the minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverage. • Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendation upon request. • Arranging and cleaning tables or counters after patrons have finished dining and wiping down condiments and replenishment if necessary. • Prepare, mix and chill drinks for customers. • Garnishes and decorates preparatory to serving. • Perform other task as determined and assigned by the F&B Supervisor or F&B Manager.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least three months of work related experience. Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, professional, neat and well groomed at all times. A "People Person", acquired hospitality related program and speaking additional languages preferred but not required. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including handling large group of customers. Be able to stand for prolonged period of time. Ability to speak, read and write any other language is a plus. Able to obtain Food Handler Certification. Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evening, weekends and holidays.
