Job Title: Executive Chef
Job Duties: •Manages the menu planning and utilization of food surpluses and leftovers, taking into account probable number of passengers/customers, marketing conditions, popularity of various dishes, and regency of menu. •Estimate food consumptions and purchases requisitions of food items and kitchen supplies. •Manages the review and analysis of menus, determine food, labor, and overhead cost, and assigns prices to menu items. •Direct food apportionment policy to control costs. •Supervise cooking and other kitchen personnel and coordinates their assignments to ensure economical and timely food production. •Observe methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner. •Test cooked foods by tasting and smelling them. •Devise special dishes and develops recipes. •Familiarize newly hired Chefs and Cooks with practices of kitchen and oversees training of Cook Apprentices. •Establishes and enforces nutrition and sanitation standards for restaurant. •Performs other duties as may be required by the mission of the company.

Qualification Requirements: Graduation from a recognized college or university with an Associate’s degree in culinary arts and seven (7) years professional experience in a hotel/catering industries; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the preferable knowledge, abilities and skills.
