Job Title: Room Maintenance Handyman
Job Duties: General repairs and remodeling tasks such as rough and finish carpentry • Keep accurate records of each assigned job • Maintain the hotel and its environment in a safe, clean and secure condition • Maintain inventory of all housekeeping supplies and provide list to program manager • Maintain minimal repairs and maintenance schedule for facility making minor repairs to walls and wood work • Maintain supply room and storage areas in an organized manner to ensure access to supplies and stored equipment • Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed, such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry or housekeeping as needed • Liaise daily with Supervisor on requested jobs to be carried out on guest floors • Require equipment and parts for goods and services necessary for the continued operation • Adhere to all Company policies and procedure • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors • Shampoo carpeted areas and perform general maintenance of wood and marble surfaces • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements: • At least 1 - 2 years’ maintenance experience, preferably in a 5 star hotel • Primary school or above • Knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and/or other general repair skills preferred • Knowledge of floor maintenance machines, eg. Single disc, floor polisher, vacuums • Able to work independently and detail oriented • Responsible, self-motivated and independent • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays on rotation basis • Fluent in English • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage • Ability in multi-task
