Job Title: Training Manager (Food & Beverage)
Job Duties: • Serves as a project manager/training lead on the implementation of new technology, service concepts, menus, and outlets. • Performs training in an accurate and effective manner. • Interact with internal staff and external guests from Asian and international countries. • Works closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to develop continuous training programs on a regular basis. • Constantly obtains and updates guest feedback from different resources and implements training modules to increase guest satisfaction. • Updates and revises departmental training materials as required, ensuring that new policy implementations are integrated into existing lesson plans. • Evaluates progress and training comprehension of all newly hired F&B employees. • Ensures that all F&B staff remains current with the knowledge and skills associated with their job descriptions through continuous training. • Conducts specialized training with F&B personnel who needs improvements in specific areas. • Possesses good organizational and filing skills, as well as the ability to chart attendance records on paper and through computer programs. • Performs regular training audits regarding service standards. • Ensures proper communication for training schedule changes and responds in a timely and professional manner to questions and concerns. • Works flexible hours to accommodate training classes amongst the shifts. • Develops a good working relationship with the Human Resources Training Division and keeps them updated with training attendance records and curriculum information. • Demonstrates versatility and flexibility in adjusting teaching style to meet the needs of learners. • Maintains poise and clarity when challenged in the classroom. • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Must have 3-5 years training experience in a five (5) star hotel environment or well-known property. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience. • Must have strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. • Must be able to speak in front of a large group and discuss a variety of topics and issues. • Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of the organization. • Must have expertise in the application of adult learning principles in training delivery and creation of training programs and materials. • Must have strong organization, evaluation, assessment, and decision-making skills. • Self-directed, positive, adaptable and flexible team player. • Ability to communicate in both English and Chinese to deal with guests and internal staff from Asian and International countries. • Ability to operate Microsoft Windows & Office software. • Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels. • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on a rotation basis. • Must be able to multi-task.
