Job Duties: | • Ensure appropriate headcount of people involved in a watersport on an hourly basis • Call out warnings to people who are in imminent danger • Provide safety information to people prior to them indulging in a water sport • Supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocols • Spot hazards or potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents • Control and report unruly behavior and evict individuals not adhering to behavior protocols • Perform rescues in the event of drowning or swimming accidents • Perform first aid and CPR according to the demands of adverse situations • Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene • Inspect facilities daily to ensure safety standards are maintained • Maintain accurate records of pool use and chemical levels • Check safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenance • Ensure that all pool equipment is stored safely and that any lost items are kept in a safe place • Answer guests' inquires in a professional and courteous manner • Adhere to all Company policies and procedure • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors • Perform other related duties as assigned |

Qualification Requirements: | • A minimum of six months experience in related field, preferable in a 5 star hotel / well known property • High school graduate or above • Knowledge of First Aid and CPR • Ability to resolve emergency situations • Excellent customer service skills • Proactive and innovative problem solver • Effective Team player and who values teamwork • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays on rotation basis • Responsible, self-motivated and independent • Fluent in English • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage • Ability to multi-task |
