Job Duties: | • Call out warnings to people who may have ventured too far or are in imminent danger • Provide safety information to people prior to them indulging in a water sport • Supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocols • Spot hazards or potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents • Control and report unruly behavior and evict individuals not adhering to behavior protocols • Ensure that water sports is done within the parameters of set rules and regulations • Maintain attentiveness to environment and condition of the beach to secure the safety of the guests • Inspect facilities daily to ensure safety standards are maintained • Perform rescues in the event of drowning or swimming accidents • Perform first aid and CPR according to the demands of adverse situations •Check safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenance • Adhere to all Company policies and procedure • Answer guests' inquires in a professional and courteous manner • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors • Perform other related duties as assigned |

Qualification Requirements: | •A minimum of six months experience in related field, preferably with a 5 star hotel • High school graduate or above • Must be Clark County or Red Cross Certified Lifeguard and obtain a current CPR certification • Obtain proficient knowledge in life guarding and swimming instruction, swimming pool administration, emergency procedures, First Aid and CPR • Ability to resolve emergency situations • Excellent customer service skills • Proactive and innovative problem solver • Effective Team player and who values teamwork • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis • Responsible, self-motivated and independent • Fluent in English • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage • Ability to multi-task |
