| Job Duties: | Receive payment by cash, check, credit card, voucher or automatic debit. Issue receipts, refund credit or change due to customer. Greet customers entering establishment. Assist customers by providing information on procedures and policies of on-going promotions and resolving any complaints. *Knowledge of the structure and content of the English Language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar. Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission and tabulation bills using calculators, cash register or optical price scanner. *Knowledge of POS Software and arithmetic, algebra and other mathematical applications. Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties such as mopping floors and emptying trash can, fixing display items, fill up empty shelvings and mark prices on items. Tally cash, charge and fleetcards transactions and prepare sales report at the end of the shift. |
