Job Title: | Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technician |
Job Duties: | Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions. Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components. Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers or field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts. Test electronics units, using standard test equipment, and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment. Adjust or replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry or electronics components, using hand tools or soldering iron. Assemble, test, or maintain circuitry or electronic components, according to engineering, instructions, technical manuals, or knowledge of electronics, using hand or power tools. |

Qualification Requirements: | Applicants must have Bachelor degree of Industrial Technology in Electronics and completed manufacturers training program for this particular class of submersible. Experienced in design, operate, and maintain ASME/PVHO vessels. Relate to systems designed utilizing greater than normal pressure.at least have an minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical and electronics. Have the skills to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions and abilities to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong on the equipment and machinery. Specialized work experience and documentation is required for operating and supporting tourist submersible operations. Applicants must be physically able to perform efficiently the duties of the position at sea and ashore. Able to work rotating work schedules which may include holidays and week-ends.Applicants will be required complete written and oral interview. |

Comments: | Pacific Subsea Saipan Inc. operates 4 passenger vessels including one tourist submersible engaged in tourism. All vessels are operated according to federal regulations (CFR) for passenger vessels. In order to qualify for the positions all applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment drug testing and enter into a ongoing drug testing program, additionally applicants possesses CPR and basic first aid certification complying with DOT/USCG as required per 46CFR. |
