Green Task Statement.Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this is a key leadership role within the project organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction phase of the new hotel resort facility. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the performance of the CM Company. • Ensure best practices are imbedded in the execution approach for the delivery of the construction phase of the project. • Provide proactive leadership for the safety program on the Project. • Work with the Design Manager to manage the Design - Construction interface. • Manage the turnover of systems from the CM Team to the Commissioning team and the close out of the CM contract. • Act as the primary point of contact for field related activities with the existing Operations team at the site. • Ensure that all works are executed safely. • Oversight of the complete Project Construction Schedule up to MC of all Systems. • Working with the Project Controls lead, review and approve construction contract packages expenditure and changes in a timely manner in support of the overall Project schedule. • Ensure all sub-contact packages are fully closed out, final accounts are complete and all relevant construction documentation is comprehensively complied and handover to the site in line with existing systems and procedures. • Provide oversight of the Construction Quality management system. • Manage change during the construction phase of the project. • Develop general procedures, metrics and deliverables in support of successful delivery of the project objectives on time and within budget. • Identify project risks and opportunities and propose mitigation plans. • Assist the Senior Project Manager in communication and reporting for the Project. • Support input to the development of detailed capital project execution schedule.

Qualification Requirements: Ability to effectively communicate, interact and collaborate with team members and external stakeholders is essential. A Construction Management (CM) company will be contracted to provide construction management services for the Project. Its scope includes site management, construction safety management & permitting, contractor procurement, construction management, equipment installation, schedule and cost management.Most of these occupations require a four-year bachelor's degree, but some do not.A considerable amount of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations. Employees in these occupations usually need several years of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training.Many of these occupations involve coordinating, supervising, managing, or training others. • Min qualification – Bachelor's degree or higher education in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field • Held a similar management position on a large capital and experienced in all stages of large project execution. • Experienced in construction management on large capital projects • Experience in new project start-up • Experienced in managing budgets both capital and expense • Experienced in sub contract negotiation • Experience of large scale equipment package delivery approaches • Experience of modular design implementation strategies • Good knowledge of Contract law and disputes resolution process • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • An ability to deal with change and implement new effective processes • An ability to work through peers and across organizational boundaries and influence at all levels in the business • Must be proficient in the English language as well as Mandarin Chinese
