Job Title: Director - HR Project & Development
Job Duties: Manage Human Resources staff members’ day-to-day performance. Act as a business and strategic partner to the operation leaders in order to achieve hotel metrics. Develop, manage and implement personnel policies; develop a Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Assist in the production of HR materials and program. Work in consultation with human resources executive director and/or human resources business partner staff to resolve highly complex issues, as needed. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job, adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies. Manage and supervise HR and administrative staff, supporting them to achieve strategic and operational targets. Providing administrative oversight to the Information Management and Administrative Services Divisions, exercising direct and indirect supervision over professional and technical support personnel, as assigned. Communicate and ensure compliance and consistency with office practices and policies and compliance with all employment related laws. Effectively interface with all levels of the organization to coordinate and oversee all of the people-related and office management activities. Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.) Oversee and ensure the activities of the Administration in the provision of cost-effective, timely and quality administration services across the Company Ensure the smooth operations of all outsourced facilities management services such as maintenance, catering, insurance, etc. Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons (e.g. electricians). Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations. Manage schedules and deadlines. Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints. Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation. Make certain that all administrative systems and processes are highly reliable, finely tuned and well delivered with an aim toward pro-action rather than reaction. Representing the department at intradepartmental and interdepartmental meetings. Maintain a working knowledge of various casino policies and procedures. Responsible for pre-opening hotel projects. Perform and complete other tasks as assigned by the Management in a timely manner. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Qualification Requirements: Must be Bachelor’s Degree holder in Human Resources or Hospitality related major. Ten years of experience in human resources or general administration. Four years of managerial experience. Must be adept at problem solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner. Must possess strong interpersonal skills. Flexibility and ability to work on multiple projects. Excellent knowledge of HR systems and databases. Excellent facilitation and oral and written communication skills, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings. Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information. Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently. Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, judgment, negotiating, influencing, and decision-making skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback. Bilingual speaker is an advantage, especially Chinese-English speaker. Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demands.
