Job Title: | Maintenance Handyman I |
Job Duties: | Maintenance Handyman I performs basic maintenance work on staff housing such as repairing faulty appliances, toilets, fix minor electrical issues, painting a building’s exterior and other small jobs. General repairs and remodeling tasks such as rough and finish carpentry Keep accurate records of each assigned job Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of company properties structures Maintain all of resort areas & staff housing & company properties and its environment in a safe, clean and secure condition Maintain inventory of all housekeeping supplies and provide list to program manager Maintain minimal repair and maintenance schedule for facility making minor repairs to walls and wood work Maintain supply room and storage areas in an organized manner to ensure access to supplies and stored equipment Assist in other areas of the staff housing as needed, such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry or housekeeping as needed Liaise daily with Supervisor on requested jobs to be carried out on guest floors Require equipment and parts for goods and services necessary for the continued operation Adhere to all Company policies and procedure Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors Perform other duties as assigned |

Qualification Requirements: | At least 6 months maintenance experience, preferably in a 5 star hotel Knowledge in plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and/or other general repair skills preferred Able to work independently and detail oriented Good communication skills to under the maintenance needs Responsible and self-motivated Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis |
