| Job Duties: | Prepare and deliver news, sports, and/or weather reports, gathering etc. Study background information in order to prepare for programs or interviews. Operate control consoles. Read news flashes to inform listeners of important events. Announce musical selections, station breaks, commercials, or public service information, and accept requests from listening audience. Coordinate games, contests, or other on-air competitions, performing such duties as asking questions and awarding prizes. Keep daily program logs to provide information on all elements aired during broadcast, such as musical selections and station promotions. Host a professional and entertaining show on KWAW-FM (Filipino Radio Station) appealing to an audience as specified by the station’s program director/GM with flexibility to work as scheduled. Host major coverage programming and special shows as required. Assist program director/GM with production of commercials and upkeep of music library.Position requires a broad knowledge of current events, popular culture, CHR (current hit release) music from USA and the Philippines. One-year of sales experience preferred but not required; media sales experience a plus. Must be highly motivated to succeed in a competitive environment. Position requires a person with high energy, outgoing personality, strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy, valid driver’s license, a good driving record and reliable transportation preferred but not necessary. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Position requires a minimum of two (2) years work experience at a radio station preferably in news/talk programming. Must haves: good broadcast voice with friendly and credible approach; ability to work under deadline pressure and the ability to interact in an entertaining, engaging, and credible way with other talent and the market audience. Medium Preparation Needed Overall Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations. |
