| Job Duties: | Fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system maintenance. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Performing preventative maintenance. Handling basic repairs and maintenance. Cut and trim grass using equipment and hand tools. Rake leaves, trim hedges and trees. Clean grounds and remove litter. Plant grass, flowers, trees or shrubs using gardening tools. Water lawn and shrubs. Repair fences, gates, walls and walks using carpentry and masonry tools. Paint fences, interiors and outbuildings. Clean out drainage, ditches and culverts using shovel and rake. Make minor repairs on equipment such as lawn mower, using hand tools and power tools. |
