Job Title: Customer Service Officer
Job Duties: Greets, registers and assigns rooms to guest. Issues room key and escort instruction to Guest Relations Agent. Updates customer records in the system, including notes about interactions. Answers customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person. Computes bills, collects payment, and makes change for guest. Makes and confirms reservations. May post charges , such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to ledger, manually or using computer. May make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation. May deposit guests valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box. Pitches ideas for improving customer care. Creates and maintains reports about customer interactions. Attends weekly staff meetings. Participates in team-building activities. Makes recommendations to management to improve customer experience. Plan or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of Resort’s product or service to the customers. Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences. Fully knowledgeable in taking requests from guests. Greet guest and serve with a smile at all times under the supervision of Front Office Manager. Visits resort outlets and attends to foreign language speaking customers any issues or concerns and submits for management recommendation.
Qualification Requirements: Preferably fluent in Korean speaking. Preferably college degree or must have at least 1 year of experience in Hospitality or Tourism. Know how to protect the hotel, agent contract and their privacy. Must have excellent communication skills, good quality of customer service, and multi tasking skills are a must. Team player is a must. Capable of decision making and can work under pressure. Must be able to work variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
