Job Title: Yard Supervisor
Job Duties: Must conduct chassis maintenance and repairs, including electrical welding. Responsible for taking inventory of chassis and identifying sea and non-sea worthy equipment. Responsible for maintaining all equipment and warehouse activities and ensure safety measures.

Qualification Requirements: Must have a knowledge on chassis maintenance and repairs, including electrical and welding. Background on shipping containers and chassis inventories is a must, which requires full detail knowledge on identifying seaworthy and non-seaworthy equipment. Graduate of associate degree and one or two years of Supervisory experience in the Liner and Agency Shipping Industry with emphasis on general agency and vessel operations and documentation, warehouse activities, safety performance. Able to work independently, must have a strong background in math and analysis for preparing and providing cost and expense for repair and maintenance of equipment. Must be proficient in English comprehension and maritime terminologies and abbreviations, that is required for preparing vessel reports and responding email. With detail knowledge on UNITED STATES COAST GUARD (USCG) regulations for vessel entry requirement, 49CFR and INTERNATIONAL MARITIME DANGEROUS GOOD (IMDG) Code is essential. Must be a certified HAZARDOUS MATERIAL (HAZMAT) handler. Must have detail knowledge in INSTITUTE INTERNATIONAL CONTAINER LESSOR(IICL)Regulation. Must be a certified welder. Proficient in Windows base system and with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word. Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends.
