Job Title: INSTRUCTOR(DIVING)
Job Duties: Gives instructions to divers as leader of the diving team. Teaches first time divers how to use the functions of scuba diving gears, diving equipment such as oxygen tanks, etc. Have knowledge in first aid. Take appropriate safety precautions, such as monitoring dive lengths and depths, and registering with authorities before diving expeditions begins. Descend into water with the aid of dive helpers, using scuba gears or diving suits. Obtain information about diving tasks and environmental conditions. Does other related duties assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: At least 1 to 2 yrs. work experience as a Dive Instructor. With PADI License as a Dive Instructor. Related Experience Previous workrelated skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations. For example, an electrician must have completed three or four years of apprenticeship or several years of vocational training, and often must have passed a licensing exam, in order to perform the job. Job Training Employees in these occupations usually need one or two years of training involving both onthejob experience and informal training with experienced workers. A recognized apprenticeship program may be associated with these occupations.
