Job Duties: | Job Description: Will help the Team oversea the Import/Export freight operations, booking, tracking, delivery, billing for all modes of transport (air and ocean). Stay abreast current and upcoming regulations. Maintain excellent relations with clients and agents. Coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including booking, manifest, Bills of Lading and billing. Review all shipment documentation to confirm accuracy and perform data input to open file. Ensure all client special instructions are followed Assist other team members as needed to ensure timely completion of work. Maintain effective relationship with clients and answer general inquiries regarding shipment status. Tracking status with truckers & ocean and air carriers and keeping clients/agents advised of status. Ensure shipments are released in a timely manner by communicating with customs brokers and cargo is delivered in a timely manner. Follow up on client’s reports. Perform billing function including preparing client invoice and all required support documents. Maintain customer profiles. |

Qualification Requirements: | Qualifications: Must have at least 1-2 years direct experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations. Must have extensive knowledge and skills in Import/Export documentation. Must be knowledgeable in preparing shipping docs for both Air and Ocean shipment. Awareness of regulation affecting the International movement of cargo. Ability to Lift up to 50 Lbs frequently and greater than 75 Lbs occasionally. Standing and walking on non-climate controlled loading dock area for several hours at a time. Ensure customer's freight is delivered and picked-up timely and damage free. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other internet based program. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime, weekend and holidays, if needed. Knowledge in Transportation Industry, corporate standard, products, and Import/Export regulations. |
