Job Title: Cage & Count Shift Manager
Job Duties: • Oversee and manage a designated area of the Cage & Count as directed by the Cage & Count Manager/Director • Responsible for the immediate, periodic, and overhaul repair, maintenance and general operation of the Count machines. • Must learn and maintain a thorough working knowledge of count equipment. • Work closely with other internal departments to ensure all gaming Guests' needs related to credit and cash are handled efficiently and accurately • Resolve disputes and escalate to superior when necessary • Handle and solve any concerns and questions customers may have • Raise issues to superior as the need arise • Participate in the strategic development of the department • Ensure all Cages are operating at an exceptionally high standard • Ensure that Cage & Count policies and procedures are well executed with zero tolerance to variance and supervising Cage & Count department team members • Provide high level of guest service at all times • Be alert for Guests and other team members who need assistance and offer help • Routinely strive to build and maintain rapport with customers, by handling disputes and making every effort to achieve customer satisfaction. • Build rapport and coordinate daily functions with support services departments, especially Cage & Count Operations. • Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance. • To review manning and workloads and to ensure allocation of staff to effectively meet business demand • Determine manpower requirements and approve schedules • Delegate tasks and responsibilities as required • Oversee the confidentiality of all gaming records • Be aware of all relevant governmental regulations and comply with them • Evaluate and counsel team members in order to maintain and enhance operations of the Cage department • Ensure that all Company monies are reconciled and accounted for properly on the designated shift • Act as a role model and always present oneself as an asset of Imperial Pacific and encourage others to do the same • Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies • Attend all required meetings and trainings. • Interact with internal staff and external guests from Asian and International countries for all cage functions • Interact with department and team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively. • Exercise appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention. • Handle and secure keys within department guidelines. • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • High school diploma required; college degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred • 5 years or higher of experience in Casino or Cage operations in a well-known/ 5 star Casino or VIP Junket, background in accounting, banking operation, preferred • Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in Cage operations. • Cash handling experience required. • Experience in handling cash and foreign exchange currencies required. • Experience in rolling chip settlement required. • Ability to communicate in English to deal with guests and internal staff from Asian and International countries, Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage • Full knowledge and understanding of all company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures. • Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident, and well-groomed manner. • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff. • Knowledge of casino games and operations. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Must be able to secure a Commonwealth Casino Commission Gaming License • Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demands. • Basic knowledge of electrical circuitry, electronics and mechanical devices. • Ability to operate Microsoft Windows & Office software. • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.
