| Job Title: | Staff Nurse |
| Job Duties: | Assess, implement, evaluate and develop a written nursing plan of care. Evaluate and revise nursing care plan as necessary to meet stated goals. Responsible for the admission and discharge of assigned patients. Oversees LPNs, GNs, and NAs. Communicate openly and effectively with members of the health care team, other professionals, patients and family members. Demonstrate current knowledge of the legal and ethical standards of nursing practice and patient care. Participate in QAPI and CQPI programs. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Start intravenous (IV) infusion and adds medications to IV fluids as ordered by the physician. Responsible for the total nursing care of assigned patients. Must practice safe and sound judgments in providing care for assigned patients. Must be able to prioritize, be flexible and manage time efficiently to accommodate work flow and variability withing the unit. Ensure that Medicare and other US regulatory standards are applied and practiced by nursing professional. Perform as Charge Nurse when assigned. Demonstrate as a preceptor or mentor as needed. Perform other related duties or tasks as needed. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Associate of Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from recognized/accredited school of Nursing. Must have passed NCLEX-RN and must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Commonwealth Board of Nurse Examiners (CBNE) to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). Must possess BLS/ACLS certification. Must be able to engage with individuals of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. |
