Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Duties: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely Financial Statements, analytical statistics, regulatory reports to management and governmental regulatory agencies. Directly in-charge of the preparation of Daily and Monthly Sales Journal for posting to General Ledger Peachtree Accounting Systems. Reconciliation of Flash Report based on daily POS Micros Report against monthly Micros Report before finalizing the Flash Sales Report for the month. Directly in-charge of preparation of Employee Labor Details Report for submission to Operations Manager for review and approval before encoding in the STG's payroll system. Manage tax reporting requirements including monthly and quarterly tax filings, business gross receipts tax and excise tax. Maintain record for food, equipment, and sales product inventory records, for acquisitions, sales, testing, promotions and spoilage in a manner as to provide vital statistical data. Directly in-charge in the preparation of Vendor Ledger report for submission to Accounting Manager for further review and approval for payment. Assists the Accounting Manager to manage, coordinate and oversee the external audit in conjunction with the standard goals of Hard Rock Café.
Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, foreign equivalent acceptable. Minimum of 2+ previous experiences in similar position. Proficient in the preparation of Financial Statements. Familiar with preparation of payroll process and taxes. Micros POS Systems and Peachtree. Exceptional skills in MS Excel and Word. Hands on. Self-Starter and able to work with strict deadline.
