Job Title: Maintenance Repairer
Job Duties: Basic functions include: •Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock •Practicing safety and sanitation standards •Having a sense of urgency •Stocking products •Recycling products •Communicating professionally with co-workers. •Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve: •Pipe fitting, boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. Job Requirements include: •Must be at least 19 years old •Performing duties which require bending & reaching •Lifting & transporting up to 100-pound containers, dish racks, and trashcans •Standing or moving, for up to 8+ hours •Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”) •Following all uniform guidelines •Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards •Recycling products, where possible
Qualification Requirements: 1.Minimum 1 + previous years experience as maintenance repairer in a restaurant set-up. 2.Proficient troubleshooting and diagnostic skills 3.Technical knowledge of H.V.A.C. and refrigeration, electrical repair, plumbing, along with some knowledge of carpentry and general maintenance. 4.Ability to maintain / repair varied types of restaurant and building equipment. 5.Experienced in refrigeration and along with related general maintenance / repair work. 6.Aware of basic safety issues. Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment 7.Trained in hands-on equipment maintenance 8.Strong work ethic. Uses time productively to accomplish work goals 9.Has a solid understanding of the job and its duties and responsibilities 10.Understands technology and can grasp challenging technical issues 11.Pays attention to detail. Approaches work in a meticulous and thorough manner
